As the biggest species of tiger, The Bengal tigers are quite popular among people as the national animal in Bangladesh. White color dominates their skin so that being called as white tiger. Nowadays they are getting in danger of extinction and only 2500 Bengal tigers left. Almost like cat, they get carnivores as their habit to consume foods. They eat the baby of elephant and rinocheros which becomes nearly extinct with a few number of them left. They eat man but it is rarely happened because they are adaptive animals which can easily adjust themselves on different and new habitats.

People sometimes wonder to see Bengal tiger in their habitats. They commonly exist in Sundarban mangrove forests which could be found in the region of India and Bangladesh. Why the Sundarban mangrove forests becoming their favorite place? The forests act like shelters and food sources. A lot of preys can be easily caught. The Mangrove forests also provide place where the Bengal tiger could easily look after their children.
At the border of the River Ganges, they place stalking prey. For those who are exciting to see this creature can track down their habitats and see what they are living.
It got some years ago when the mangrove forests had not been cut down and burnt. Along with some attempts to widen area for real estate and farmland, their habitat is drastically reduced. It affected on the number of Bengal tiger in India. Preservation is actually needed to keep their presence.
That’s why the easy way to know where to find the Bengal tiger in India is the wild life parks or tiger reserve. There are a lot of wild life reserves in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh in which you can find easily the Bengal tigers. The dense grasslands habitats are also favorite place for them.
Based on a tiger population map, it has been estimated that more or less three hundreds Bengal tigers live in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Instead of this location, you also can find them in the Karnataka. At the present time, their number is getting lowered and almost near to extinct. To save their life, some reservations are needed and there are only more than a thousand of Bengal tigers live which desperately should be increased. As national animal of India, it should be preserved in order to make the country’s identity more alive.
